Reliance Industries announced their new service Jio TV Plus (JioTV+). It is a content aggregator platform that brings all the big OTT companies, TV channels and entertainment apps to its Jio set-top box. After the launch of JioFiber, it aims to capture the broadband market as Jio did in the telecom sector. However, Jiofiber failed to meet its expectations and the company made many changes to its plans and services.
Now, the Jio Set Top Box along with Jiofiber registration has brought a new feature called the Jio TV Plus that will have 12 top OTT platforms including Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney+ Hotstar, Voot, SonyLiv, Zee5, JioCinema, JioSaavn, YouTube and more.

The Jio TV+ is an aggregated content platform that features 12 popular OTT platforms that allow users to watch their favourite movies, TV shows, trailers, songs and music videos. The biggest USP of the platform is that the users will not be required to log in on different OTT platforms separately.
The users can log in to any OTT platform such as Netflix, Hotstar, Disney+, or Amazon with a single login to watch the content through Jio TV+.
The user interface of the Jio TV+ looks clean and user-friendly which has many features like users will able to search for movies and their favourite show with the voice-assistant feature.
Now, Jiofiber users can download the apps from the Jio App Store on their Set-Top Box to watch content including entertainment, education, health, cooking, yoga, gaming, religion and many more.
The Jio TV+ platform will help Jiofiber beat its competitors in the race of broadcast and DTH segments. Apart from Jio TV Plus, the company also launched Jio Glass.
