In the first quarter of 2021, Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance is all set to relaunch its 4G feature telephone, JioPhone 3 4G. The rise is a move to cash in on the rising demand of the world because of the standard of home employment, research and entertainment.
The latest Reliance JioPhone is being manufactured by contract maker Flex. According to the news agency PTI, Reliance Jio is looking to reach about 20-30 lakh mobile phone users currently using 2G connection.
A company official told PTI in October that Jio would like to carry a system for less than Rs 5,000. “When we scale up the sales, JioPhone 3 4G can be priced in the range of Rs 2,500-3,000,”When we scale up sales, it can be priced in the range of Rs 2,500-3,000.
The relaunch of Jio’s 4G handset will be followed by the suggested Jio-Google Android smartphones currently being tested in India. Google spent Rs 33,737 crore in Jio Networks for a 7.7 percent stake earlier this year.
In July this year, Ambani announced the commercial partnership between Reliance Jio and Google to jointly develop entry-level affordable 4G and likely 5G smartphones for a ‘2G mukt Bharat’ at Reliance’s virtual AGM.
In 2017, Reliance launched JioPhone in India, which has more than 100 million subscribers, many of whom are first-time internet users.
